How would I explain myself, well to start ‘slightly mental but means well’ lol – now into my later 40’s and have tried to enjoy life all the way and what a life!

At 18 had my own business that went T’s up at 19, so decided to
begin a dream of dj’ing and radio. Learnt the basics as a mobile dj, whilst attending Lacy Lady, Zero 6, various soul nights in Essex & London, Epping Forest Country Club and so on…blah, blah, blah… always watching the excellent DJ’s and thinking ‘wow that’s where I want to be’ and more…forward wind up to now…

I have become no stranger to the world of DJ'ing, radio & hosting, with nearly 30 years’ experience, worked alongside the biggest stars in the soul music industry with the likes of Billy Ocean, Beverley Knight, Georgie B, Kenny Thomas, Eban Brown (The Stylistics) and more. Ive managed to interview the biggest names in the soul / funk / dance scene including Will Downing, Kenny Thomas, Leee John (Imagination) Georgie Bromfield (Second Image Icon) Joey Negro, Glen Goldsmith, Howard Johnson, Jocelyn Brown, Jaki Graham, Will Downing, Shaun Escoffery and among many other international artists.

Managed to build a reputation from the early days of organising soul events at a local football club in the mid 1980’s, to dj’ing to upto 4,000 Soul loving people at the Margate Soul Festival, hosting to upto 10,000 at festivals and corporate events.

I’ve managed to hold various residency soul nights from Plazma Club, The Big Zero Radio Soul Night Out (7 Years) Bar Zero Soul & Club Night and the very successful Soulful Seduction Nights that are full to capacity every 3rd Friday of the month. Alongside residency gigs, djed and hosted radio shows at various Weekenders, a regular dj in the main room events at Zero Radio’s Killer Soul, Overdose Of Joy events and more.

Radio - From Sky digital, to the Daily Mail Group, worked on local to independent commercial radio. Presented every style of radio show from breakfast, drivetime through to sports shows. Current radio show, The Soul Sanctuary is now into its 8th year and has built a very strong radio following, offering modern and classic soul, with exclusive interviews and features and is live every Tuesday evening in the UK from 7pm (GMT) I also recently presented a soul, club style Saturday night show on the global platform radio station ‘Overseas FM’ based in Spain. A Soulful house, Soul style show with a commercial edge, The Basement Radio Show with Bully was broadcasting to Spain, Gran Canaria, Ibiza, Portugal and beyond.

TV Work & Host - As well as a radio presenter & DJ, Im also an established interviewer, compare / mc working for corporate companies such as Ford Motor Company, UNICEF, STEM, Loughborough University, IET, Brentwood Borough Council, Basildon Council and many, many other. Been told I have a 'cheeky style' and gained a reputation that you know when im on stage I will keep your audience of any age entertained, Im also a regular host/presenter on the IET TV network and Youtube TV channel interviewing soul artists and people of interest on the soul scene.

Writing – I had a regular two page column in an online soul music magazine, as well as news reporting to a number of soul news media platforms, covering album reviews, music news and more. Ive offered my writing skills to many magazines online and hardcopy and currently writing a book to be published by 2018.
